Custom wood frames with glass,
ideal for artworks on paper.
ideal for artworks on paper.
Framing paper artworks with glass protects them from dust, moisture, and wear, while giving a clean, gallery-ready finish. Whether it's a print, painting, or photo, the right frame helps preserve and present your piece.
All frames use archival, acid-free materials. I work with Genta Art Prints for the construction of these frames to ensure mounting methods are both reversible and protective.

Each frame can have a custom window cut size that will fit your print.

Mat Board
We currently offer two mats to choose from: Berkeley acid-neutral mats and Hahnemühle Museum Board.
Hahnemühle Museum Board is made with 100% Cotton and with a weight of 1,280gsm—this gives an eye-catching 2mm thickness offering an immersive depth to your prints, 65% deeper than a typical window.
Berkeley acid-neutral mats are our economy option with a substantial thickness of 1.2mm. A great option for smaller prints.

Adhesives
To hinge the matboards together, we use the industry’s favourite archival tape, Lineco Linen Hinging Tape. It is a very fine pH neutral, non-yellowing, pressure sensitive cloth tape that will stay strong and pliable for decades. It holds the front and back mat together to help keep the print in place.

Mounting Corners
We strive to make each framed print as reversible as possible—this means being able to unmount your art without damaging the prints.
Lineco Photo Corners is a small piece of plastic pocket that holds each corner down, requiring no adhesives to directly stick to the print. Made out of polypropylene, it won’t degrade in the near future making it a perfect choice for archival framing.

Frame Material
All frames are handcrafted from treated pine wood—light in tone, naturally grained, and sturdy. The wood is stainable to various shades and sealed with a lacquer finish for durability. Grain patterns may vary, and minor surface irregularities are part of its natural character.
